Saving and retrieving results

Once you have performed a search, you can save the list of retrieved documents to disk. You can open this file at a later point and browse through the document list without having to re-execute your query.

Saving an answer to disk
  1. Select File > Save Answer to Disk from the menu, press [CTRL-D] on your keyboard, or click the Save answer button .
    The standard Windows Save screen will be displayed.
  2. Select a name and a location for the file and click OK to save. The default extension is .ans.
Retrieving an answer from disk
  1. Select File > Load Answer from Disk, from the menu, press [CTRL-L] on your keyboard, or click the Load answer button .
    The standard Windows Open screen will be displayed.
  2. Find the name and location of the answer file and click Open.
